Is the members line still sending out automatic case numbers when you email them?
I sent a query in Tuesday morning and haven't heard anything back yet (and in my experience they've always been pretty quick), noticed just now that I never got a case number so I'm wondering if maybe my message never went through?

After I went down and collected a replacement book on Tuesday, yesterday I got a reply to my original email dated 26 June. Something going wrong down there

Good to know. I tried resending my message shortly after your first reply, no case number for that either (I even checked some messages from last year, the auto-reply was nearly instant then). AFAIK my email server hasn't had any other issues lately so it sounds like an issue on their end. Reckon I'll just ring them up tomorrow, might be easier.

I get why they have thrown out so many enticing, bargain deals- but I hope it doesn't impact people's willingness to sign on from the getgo next year. I am sure there are a few disgruntled people who have paid full tote odds who might hold out for the deals next time around.

It's not a good decision and it certainly has a downside.
If you speak to the staff they acknowledge it but getting targeted numbers is important to the higher ups so they run these specials even though they know it's not necessarily a sustainable strategy.

All sides do it - I think it's something we just have to accept now. You're probably better off waiting until there are some special deals really.

Just watched the press conference from last night and Bevo mentioned we have record membership with over 63,000

The club is still hopeful they will get to 65K
I don't think the way we and the AFL count members and even attendances correctly but kudos to the club for hitting their targets.
