I think you're correct with this one. I really can't see him giving us much for a while but I'm hardly an expert, all I've seen of him is highlights and what has been written or said about him. I tend to curb my expectations nowadays.

Probably pigeon holing with this but that is the role I see him in as well and we're so over the moon with Kennedy (???) it's doubtful he pushes him or others out.

I think we're in for some pain in the not to distant future so fingers crossed he can become one of the regulars.

Cooper looks and moves like Mitch Hahn for mine. Give him the number 8.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Barrel. A cooper is a barrel maker, obviously his parents wanted him to go into the barrel construction industry but hopefully they'll get over him electing for a career in professional sport.

If we nickname him Barrel then it might help them to come to terms with their disappointment.

Yeah Agree. 6 is a special number, like 3. Go to be someone who deserves it.

I was only joking about the #6 part...
Dead serious about calling him Baz though!

Charlie Sutton, Brad Johnson, Alister Ford. Some true greats wore the #6

We should give him a really skinny 11 for comedic effect.

                        And give him moniker brackets.

Haven't watched too many highlights of the other players but the haul does seem like a good mix of types we needed to develop, good ball users and quick seemed to be the focus going in, one more selection hopefully will be a back up ruckman, one that can play staright away if needed.

Just on Hynes, again only going on video highlights packages and quite like this selection especially, there was all this talk about Murphy Reid and to me, just felt like a Scotty Clayton type of neat mid but Hynes seems like a better fit imo and was quietly pleased when Reid was picked up before us, we need some grunt, some finals type of players and Hynes looks that type of get your hands dirty player, a bonus that he's a strong one on one player and can take a nice grab and be a little crafty up forward.

It looks like he has some work to do on his fitness and I would imagine our fitness team will love the challenge of assisting the hard working Hynes. I'm really looking forward to hearing how he develops over the summer.
