I don't mind the comment thing but do think it stifles that conversation from evolving into a bigger one, plus is very hard to find once you've already read the initial post.

I've only had one proper issue so far, in that with the new posts function (which works for the most part), ill often have threads show up as read but there are new posts on them (which it recognises) but the only option i have to view the thread is from the start or by clicking on last post which will take me to the same spot every time (for example in this week's gameday thread it always takes me to page 3 despite there being 15 pages).

It seems to mostly happen on the big threads, like every gameday thread, which is annoying because they are the biggest and hardest to sift through.

Thanks for the feedback. I've asked that question on a couple of the VB admin sites. There should be a setting that needs to be adjusted so I'm hopeful we can get this fixed.

Every time I come to woof I get the "login or signup" page. If I click on a forum I'm signed in so I don't need to physically sign in. Is this happening to anyone else or just me?

Okay This is what Dogs 24/7 recommended for BAD and I've had some others confirm it worked for them and it worked for me on the phone.

I would recommend logging out of WOOF

Then

1) Reboot your phone
2) When logging back into WOOF DO NOT use the stored username and password. It will not be maintained
3) Manually type in your username and password and remember to select the remember me option

Hopefully that fixes it.

The site might go down from time to time today.
We are looking to fix some of the data base issues that have plagued the site since the upgrade and we will eventually move to better server.
I really underestimated how much the new system requirements of the software would impact the server during the upgrade
This should improve the response times, searches and a few other challenges will be addressed soon.

Just an update, the responsiveness of the site should have already improved ie quicker to navigate from thread to thread or when you post things.
Optimizing the database has helped with the responsiveness.

There are still a few other challenges so we will get them worked on.

From my perspective it's responding much quicker so enhancing the database has worked.
Are you moving to the latest vBulletin version or considering any add-ons?

I don't think I've seen the issue where threads are showing as read in the new topics despite there being new posts since the update.
