All,

The site might go off line at times this afternoon and evening.
It's to address some of the performance issues, limit the amount of unnecessary bots visiting the site and eating into the resources and to perform a VBulletin upgrade.
There is also an issue with the database volumes being exceeded and that needs to be sorted out.

Hopefully the disruptions will be minimal but there will be a few.

It's a very old feature in vBulletin based and how members react to the contributions of others.
It's a bit of a nonsense to be honest

Just to provide a bit of an update. The vBulletin upgrade has been completed moving from version 6.0.8 to 6.1.4
There are still some issues to iron out in terms of how some features and how the forum are displayed.
The technical guy working on it will try and get to that in the next day or so. He has a demanding and time consuming full time job

The next step is to clean up the bots and sort out some database issues plus fix the the fonts.
We might even add a chat feature.

Nice, it's technically called a 'Shoutbox' and contributions will likely only be on display for 24 hours.
I'm thinking it might be helpful on match days or draft days etc.
