Basically my complaint is that it is inconsistent in updating which posts I have read.
Same issue always goes to the top of the page can I get a screen shoot of the mark as read I must doing a boy look because I can't see it.

The new topics feature is becoming less and less useful as more threads show up as read already.

          Is this because of comments?

Is "Comments" a feature only some people have access to? I can't see it for me.

It appears to be the issue.

I probably haven't got that switched on for you. If we recall we moved you into a Footy only group.
I need to work out his comments rather than replies is worth it.

Yes that would explain it for me.

I'm not really sure the difference between the two yet and figuring when a Comment would be better than a Reply.

GVGjr did anybody ever look into this as I wasn't the only one experiencing the issue?

For example when I did a search yesterday for "Naughton" in the thread title it returned 1 result. Obviously there is more than 1 thread with Naughton in the title. If I just do a general search it returns hundreds of results, which is equally unhelpful.

As mentioned previously I find the search function almost not usable. eg I wanted to find last years membership thread to compare the two years to date, but, I just can't find it. Tried all sorts of search features under Advance, but nothing.

The team that did the upgrade is wanting to charge a fair bit to have a look at this now. I'm trying to search other vBulletin admin sites to see if there is a fix that I can implement.
I'll keep chipping away at it.

I've been able to find this from a mates phone

                          1) Reboot your phone
                          2) When logging back into WOOF DO NOT use the stored username and password. It will not be maintained
                          3) Type in the username and password manually and remember to select the remember me option

You should be able to log onto other sites and return to WOOF with your username and password retained in the memory.

That fixed it on my mates phone so good luck.

On another VBulletin 6 site I'm on the recommendation there is to not use the comments option in conjunction with the new topics option.

I've found comments frustrating to follow anyway, because someone can comment on a post you've already read, and you also can't respond to them.

I think quote is enough, so if you are able to turn off comment I'd support it G.

I don't mind the comment thing but do think it stifles that conversation from evolving into a bigger one, plus is very hard to find once you've already read the initial post.

I've only had one proper issue so far, in that with the new posts function (which works for the most part), ill often have threads show up as read but there are new posts on them (which it recognises) but the only option i have to view the thread is from the start or by clicking on last post which will take me to the same spot every time (for example in this week's gameday thread it always takes me to page 3 despite there being 15 pages).

It seems to mostly happen on the big threads, like every gameday thread, which is annoying because they are the biggest and hardest to sift through.
I should leave it alone but you're not right
