Just wondering Gary if WOOF has a dark mode like on big footy where you choose between either light or dark mode.

At the bottom of the page where it shows WOOF there is a drop down menu of various themes
The dark theme might suit you

You can have the dark theme on the mobile phone or Tablet but maintain a different one on the desktop.
It's up to each member what they prefer

I've can add a range of options for everyone to select from but I'm not sure if it's translating that well

The dark theme seems to be functioning okay now. I can add some others as I test them.

Dark theme is a good option to have as well as the regular WOOF one.

The one problem is if members select some of the other themes then they lose some of the features that the WOOF theme has
Basically it defaults to the basic vBulletin version. It comes down to peoples choice so I will have 4 options available for members

For people using a combination of phones, tablets, laptops or desktops to access the site, they can have different themes
Ie the WOOF theme for the desktop and a dark theme for the phone.

I've added a Halloween theme so there are 2 bright and now 2 darker themes.

I see the chat box ie Nets is operating also. Easy to find on desktop, a little bit trickier on mobile phone. G - you may want to mock up ‘how to access’ from a mobile phone perspective.

It's on the to-do list for the technical guy.
Unfortunately he's been doing 12 to 14 hour days so hopefully over the weekend or on cup day.

I'v tried all the themes and the dark is good , in my case i need to use it more only because of the change and change to us oldies isnt the preferred option haha, but i must say the dark theme once you get used to it is quite good .
One quick question Gaz , you mention if you use a theme other then WOOF you loose some features , if its not to much trouble, what are the features we would loose useing say the dark theme ?.
Basically im newish to the forum and have just got use to most of the features in WOOF , will we be going back to square one if we use a theme other then WOOF ?.
I quite like the dark theme , but dont want to be fumbling my way through another 3 or 4 months wondering what im doing wrong .
Is the quick answere , stay with the WOOF theme ?.
Im sorry to say i have no idea what basic vs bulletin version means .

In answer to NAUGHTY100 question

vBulletin and in fact any forum software has a basic version that they build and sell.
This can be modified to suit a theme that you are after. You can leave it basic or have it modified and that's what we did here
In our case, a bit of a red, white and blue theme with Bulldog images, the forum name and the Unread images won't be there etc.

Once anyone selects a theme different to the WOOF theme, all those modifications aren't there.
Perhaps in time we could modify a darker theme as the same but I have some more pressing things to get done.

If anyone wants to use the other themes they just need to understand it won't be as customized as what we now have.
It will still work the same though.
