    Sheahan's Top 50

Pleased to see that Shaggy has made it at 50 in Mike Sheahan's Top 50 for '09 whilst Boydy at 15 now cements himself in the elite group. Other notables for the Dogs are Bryza at 18 and Crossy at 48.

It's a tough job but I think he's got a good handle on it.
Nice to see Lake and Hargrave get some good recognition.

Agree, think it's a fair go at it from 50 to 11. Got to love Boydy at 15 ahead of Goddard; Brendan being a wonderful player.

As someone who doesn't pay much attention to opposition teams, what sort of player is Nick Maxwell? He's at 38. And is Mitch Clark THAT good? (24)

                  Re: Sheahan's Top 50

Scarlett + Judd too high in those top few IMO.

Judd is always guaranteed a Top 5 spot but he hasn't been near his best since 2006. Still a very gifted player, but he's not Top 5.

I'd have a number of players before Scarlett, too. He's a great player and very good again this season, but I don't think he was that good.

Still - a fairly good effort by Mike. It's not easy. Well done to Boyd too - climbing the ladder year by year.

                    Agree..Scarlett too high..

Thought Swan, Chappy & Lecras would have been a bit higher otherwise I think its good..

Id like to think Harbrow would be there if it was a Top 60..

                    Lake & Boydy top 20 =

No he isn't. Watch on the couch and you will feel the pain of that man crush that he has on Clark.

Isnt this over the past year not to do with previous seasons, or is it his top 50 playing now and takes in previous years?

Can't see how on this season Scarlett can be #3 and Brian Lake can be #18?

You can mount an argument that Scarlett had a better season, but not by that type of gap.

Lake is the better mark, in particular from opposition kicks. Scarlett is a better re-bounder. Lake closed the gap this year.
