I reckon Mitch Brown needs some eker love. Onto his 3rd club.

And to get another year reportedly in the Age - glorious work Mitch Brown, well played - my first thoughts when I saw the news he was to get another year was thats for the Eker-file

He's a fill in, a back up, a roll of the dice
But when called on to front up

A sad day with elite eker Jacob Townsend delisted by the bombers.

60 games across 9 seasons with 3 clubs is some elite ekeing. To also eke out a flag in that time is something to behold.

If he can manage a 4th club he would have to be in hall of fame territory.

Can Dodoro be put into the eker club, A long time list manager with absolutely no success but every pre season shows promise and keeps his spot.

I believe he first came to the bombers in 2001 in some form.
I would love to make it 19 years if possible.

Captain of the Ekers if this goes ahead.

ESSENDON ruckman Andrew Phillips could become the AFL's latest four-club player after attracting interest from Melbourne.

Phillips remains without a deal at the Bombers for next season and has been identified by the Demons as a potential back-up for skipper Max Gawn.

A move to the Demons would make Phillips the first player to play for four clubs since Ben Hudson (Adelaide, Western Bulldogs, Brisbane and Collingwood) retired in 2013.

Phillips, 29, played 14 games for Greater Western Sydney from 2012-2015 before moving to Carlton for a four-year stint that netted 27 matches.

Last October he was the first player to be traded between the Blues and Bombers for 16 years and played five games for the Bombers behind Sam Draper and Tom Bellchambers this season.

Notice he has never played in a side that’s up and about though.
An eker in the extreme as he travelled from one bad club to another to continue his career.

Not just one bad club after another, but in his last move he was able to drag his new club below his previous bad club on the ladder.
