They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Rocco, do you have final stats on the body of work laid down by big Daniel Currie. I wouldn't want newcomers to this post to miss out on becoming acquainted with the man who many consider to be the "Emperor of Ekers".

Sam Reid at GWS set to gain a 1 year deal. Eker royalty, 3rd longest time taken to reach 50 VFL/AFL games.
He is a walk-up start for the modern era Eker all-stars team

I really believe that GWS's insistance on playing guys like Reid cost them Caldwell and Hately and has been one of the root causes of their problem with talent retention over their history. So salute to Sam for dragging the superteam down with him.

                  Re: Ekers

Andrew Phillips a sneaky chance to get a gig as a back-up ruckman at Melbourne.
That would be his fourth club - GWS to Carlton (a well worn path), then a year at Essendon where he allowed Tim English to rack up 204 SC points.

FWIW the top 3 supercoach points tallies in 2020 were 205-204-204. It's the 35th highest supercoach tally since the stats are available from 1993. English is probably the only guy under 27 to achieve a score over 200, except for Dunkley who managed a 202 in 2019.

Hasn't he already re-signed at Essendon? Great effort either way.

Keegan Brooksby just got another 12 month contract extension at the Hawks. Drafted in 2015 by Gold Coast and has since played at West Coast and Hawthorn. 15 games in 5 consecutive completed seasons at 3 games a season across 3 different clubs. Developing a very solid eker CV.

Ruckman have such an advantage in the Eker rankings, we almost need a separate 'sub 200cm' category to reward those not blessed with being tall (yet uncoordinated). Something like a Pound for Pound ranking like in boxing or MMA.

Sam Reid and Mitch Brown probably leading the way for the 'shorter' guys.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Agreed. Ruckmen need to give odds, like Elaine did in 'The Contest' on Seinfeld.

That's a really good point. We could award a belt like they do in boxing but rated by height instead of weight. There could be short, medium and tall arse divisions.
