    Got greedy and took both...

Had to make quite a few changes this week, even though i had a shocker, i won my first round and finished on top of the "family" ladder......

Had $500,000 in the bank, and with a policy from now on to not make so many changes, brought in Ablett, made him captain, Goddard is now my vc, also bringing in the big Brown Dog to bolster up the forward line, 2 massive in's.

Also had to bench a few injured players, fortunatly i have quite a few playing players sitting on the pine, Boyd & Moles out of the midfield, bringing in Lewis Jetta & Mitch Banner.

Jason Gram out of the backline, i could either bring in Shoenmaker & Collingwoods Nathan Brown who plays his first game this week, i took a punt & went with Brown, Shoenmaker only averages 50's.

Also have Jordy Roughead on the ruck bench, but declined to take out either Nic Nat or Mitch Clark.

I'm not sure how I managed it, but I was light on in the midfield & had plenty of forwards. I was clicking away on the 'S' button to see who I could substitute & somehow ended up moving ROK from the forward line to the midfield.

Buggered if I know how I did it to be honest, but I've got a full complement playing as a result.

Yeah apparently you can do that now with players listed in dual positions.
Be buggered if I can figure it out though.

Just click the 'S' button under a players name & it will highlight who he can be subbed with.

Not really, but I'll try & explain something, see how I go.

Say you have Brendan Goddard & Luke Hodge in your team. Both can play midfield or you could have selected them as defenders.

Now Hodge is a defender in your team & Goddard is a mid. With me so far?

Say your 2 bench players in the backline don't get picked & Hodge goes out on Thursday thru injury. It means you now have 3 defenders not playing, so you're effectively 1 short.

What you can do is sub Hodge & Goddard with each other, so Goddard fills the spot up in defence, so you're no longer one short.

Hodge can then go to the bench in your midfield & one of your bench players (who is selected to play) can play instead of Hodge.

                Hope that makes sense.

Thanks mate, luckily i havent had any problems that go that deep in any of my "lines", but if I do i will look out for that kind of change.

I needed an extra ruck option last week, only going in with one playing ruck [Nick Nat], Mitch Clark is my other, but was suspended for the week, my 2 bench warmers are McEvoy & Jordan Roughead, and was hoping like mad that McEvoy got a late call up, not to be, if only i could have shifted Cooney into that ruck position! [he's done it before ]

The real problem is trying to work out who are the dual position players. I knew Hodge was, but even though I have Goddard I didn't actually know he was dual position. Both of my dual position DEF/MID players are in my backline which gives me no flexibility at all.

Next time I cash in some money and need to pick up a $100K bench player I would like to get a MID/DEF but I can't find out who they are.
