Nice... hope you're back in the top 1000 soon.

Surveying my options, and thanks to a bumper crop of cash cows (all my emergencies have played multiple games!), I've finalised a 5-week plan where I'll end up with the team I'll keep till the end of the year (all premiums/slightly fallen premiums + 1 or 2 gun rookies -- Barlow is untradeable if he keeps up his form, for example), and be left with around 8/9 trades and hopefully a little bit of change in the bank to cover for unforeseen events.

I'm not in a GREAT position (top 2500 or so) but I'm pretty bullish about finishing the year off strongly, fingers crossed!

        Injured, clearly IMO.

        I still wouldn't trade though.

Bloody forward line is in disarray. It was pretty bad anyway having Danger and Tippet, know Danger is out for a while, I have Hitchcock who just hasn't produced like I'd hoped. I've got Gumpy and Pods as starters now so it looks like I'll have to part with Danger.

Sylvia, Higgins, Franklin or even Murphy and save a bit of coin. I think Murph will come good. Or I could just wait?

          Ahh tough decision.......

Dustin Martin, Tommy Rockcliff, Jake Melksham & Robbie Warnock all out for this week which is sure to hurt a few supercoach teams out there, including mine.

Got cover for Martin. I've been rotating him and Trengrove. I didn't choose Rockliff, almost did but went for Pods instead. If one of Nick Nat or Seaby pulls out then the Warnock one will hurt.

Bit the bullet and got rid of Gray today. Also upgraded Ziebell -> Judd in the midfield.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

And mine. I don't think I will be able to field a full list of forwards in my DT, not without trading anyway, thank you Peterson, Lobbe and Rockliff.

Its weeks like this that you wish you didn't do the stupid like for like changes a few weeks ago when everything was going swimmingly.

Mental note to self : Every year you promise not to make the stupid like for like changes as there will be weeks you will regret it, and yet you still do. Next year don't do them.

                      So true.

Hats off to Rocco and Lantern who seem to be able to hold their trades. I just love pulling that trigger.

Was able to stick Chapman in the midfield to cover for Martin.

Also traded out Waite for Sylvia who was in my team before the broken jaw and has done well in his 2 games back.

Just have to hope that Duncan plays and Gumbleton gets a kick.

Rockliff out leaves me no forward cover for Dangerfield

Burning trades this year compared to last. Masten named on the extended bench for West Coast sealed his fate, Judd in.

Martin out, Jetta swapped from bench - hopefully it's only a week as Banner is my other benched mid.

Had to use up 2 trades too. I had 4 defenders not playing. Biggest move was Gram out and O'Brien in.

Sandilands has been in great form, and should be a good addition. Will be interesting to see how Grant goes over the coming weeks and if he holds his place. If he does, should be a good (and unique) get.

This week, I'm left with only one bench player, playing - Nason from Richmond. Thankfully I do have 22 starters.

No Gram, Moles, Shuey, Warnock, Lobbe, Rockliff or Hitchcock!!
