Hahn may well have also been included because we need to be able to structure the team in a similar manner to the way we want to play the season. With so many senior bigger bodied players out, Hahn might be needed to play the "Barry Hall role" for a time, or to give a chop out in another key position post. We might also want to give Williams and/or Markovic a run up forward and Hahn can play a key defender role. Hahn is one of the most versatile players on our extended list as well as being able to do a lot of the grunt work that the younguns often can't.

Even though it's just the Nab cup I'm so glad footy's back.

Good post. We need to improve the way we play with a quality KPF, going through the NAB cup without Hall or some sort of replacement for him would be a mistake IMO.

If Hall is injured or suspended through the year, there's every chance Hahn will take his place then aswell.
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

I really would have liked to look at someone else rather than Hahn, who will only play if we have to upgrade a rookie anyway. I guess the final list of which players are cut for the game hasn't been released yet so we can wait & see.
Both of them are big enough to handle the rough stuff. Hahn isn't needed at the moment.

It would be better to keep them in their more regular spots though. If Hahn covers for Hall, everyone else can stay where they normally play.

Are these the revised correct times for today?

Yup, they were originally scheduled to start at 5.20pm & 6.25pm.
