Wood's most assured performance. Competed well one on one, and was able to be creative and run and use the ball.

      Great *!*!*!*!ing win!

Rocket gave Ratten an absolute bath.

        Wow! Didn't see that coming.

Bummer that I've had to work today to meet a deadline for tomorrow. Must try to watch it during the week on BigPond.

          Great win Doggies.
Sounded like Williams / Wood / Morris / Murphy / Markovic did really well down back.
          Eade completely out-coached Ratten.
Cant wait to see the highlights.

Re: Game Day 2011 - R16 Western Bulldogs vs Carlton

Incredible roller coaster of a game !!!!!!!!!!
Behind on the tackles 82 to 93
Behind on the disposals 312 to 382
Behind on the handballs 114 to 183
Behind on the hitouts 34 to 62
Marks and kicks almost dead level
                Nailed them by 27

Just a great team win , the spread of disposals says it all , we shut down their ability to spread and find space , they just could,nt handle the pressure , we just broke them down , we were able to lift our pressure , they had nothing , by shutting down their midfield forward push their forward line was rendered useless

                Almost in the 8 !!!!!!!!!!

                MMMMMMMnnnnnnnnn Beer !!!!!!!!!!

                .

This today was the team I have known for the last 4 years.

He's still got some left in the tank. 4 goals, the ability to chase seems to be back, and some great marks.

It was all about the press for me.

28 turnovers in the front half in the first half!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally Rodney! Thank you very much!

Tremendous win today! That's the Dogs we've missed most of this year. Great pressure, chasing, better decisions. Some great work from the Pups too. Sticking it to Carlton is terrific.

Still bummed I couldn't make it.

Unfortunately am interstate this weekend, so while thrilled we won, shattered that I wasn't there to see a great win. Still glad that many on here sound like they were there cheering the boys on. Keep the reports coming, really want to know how the game unfolded at least until I can get a copy of the replay.

                            Well done Dogs.

Once again, our contested ball v uncontested ball ratio is very interesting. We're very efficient at the moment and our ability to score heavily without huge numbers of uncontested ball bodes well for finals style footy (IMHO).

Look forward to comments from those who were there re: Hooper and Hill's games.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

                                Awesome win.

We would have rolled over 6 weeks ago when we were 27 pts down and getting bent over by that bald prick in yellow, but we gritted our teeth and toughed it out.

Our backline was great, all our match ups worked a treat.

                                Drink up doggies fans.
