Our backline was great, all our match ups worked a treat.

    Drink up doggies fans.
Was good to hear Eade say he might need to 'make a phone call' tomorrow...

Bar Picken on Murphy but I don't know if Murphy is taggable anymore.

However we were all worried about the backline match ups and

        Wood embarrassed Walker.
        Murphy killed Gartlett.
        Morris smashed Betts.

And Griffen well beaten in the first qtr was released in a great move by Eade.

Just a great team win , the spread of disposals says it all , we shut down their ability to spread and find space , they just could,nt handle the pressure , we just broke them down , we were able to lift our pressure , they had nothing , by shutting down their midfield forward push their forward line was rendered useless

          Almost in the 8 !!!!!!!!!!

I thought Hill was useless and he had the chance to ice it and didn't plus still turned the ball over. I would have preferred one of the younger guys or Stack.

Was talking about the backline match-ups.

Murphy is better than I thought, but he is still a shirt lifting pretty boy.

No offence Andrew, but perhaps you could stay away more often? PS - hope you are better

Don't you mean that those two Carlton supporters shouldn't be umpiring a Carltoooon game? I was just shaking my head most of the night, trying to figure out what the frees and 50 metre penalties were for??????

2nd that. He was superb. Took a few fantastic marks. Never looked liked getting beaten in a contest and looks so much more comfortable now with the footy in his hand.

Totally agree, it was great to see him full of confidence and holding his marks and backing himself in!

I think it's the first match i have actually seen him boss the forwards, basically in a way of showing no respect, where he was confident in his own ability to win every contest.

                              Make sense?
