I saw Caleb at the Championships on tv and he was easily best on the ground in the game I saw.

The way he sold "candy" on Saturday night to kick that goal in traffic was superb. Love Caleb especially when he is the Candyman.

Agree 100%. That move was simply breathtaking in its seamless transition from take possession, make a couple of opponents look like rolled gold chumps, kick goal - just like that. He made it look so simple, like he could do it with his eyes closed. I just loved it.

I've got $10 on Caleb to win this year's Rising Star award. What do others think - is he a chance? Could be an even field this year with McLean also eligible (put $10 on him as well - didn't want to appear to be playing favourites!)

My impression is that Caleb is a bit of a red time specialist. Perhaps it is his superior stamina.

If that's the game I saw, the commentators almost had to start abbreviating his name, because repetition is awkward. Everywhere.

Cable was incredible with the ball in his hands .
I always feel at ease when Caleb has the ball .

Reminded me of an old doggie David Thorpe who used to sell candy multiple times a game. I used to love it then and love it now.
