Tom Boyd notably absent from the scorers list. Would have been good for him to get his hands on a few and build some confidence

Played in the ruck all the second half and looked a lot better than Minson and Cordy in that role.

I thought the umpire pulled his book out at one stage in the third qtr after an incident involving Will. It was interesting seeing Boyd play as much in the ruck as he did in the second half. A real indictment on the game/influence being displayed by both Will and Ayce.

I thought Hrovat tried hard all day. Honeychurch needed the run. Jong still not ready for a recall. Zaine did it tough as the only tall on the last line on a number of occasions. Quagmire in the centre of the ground made it tough getting first hands on the ball at centre bounces.

There might have been a bit of that, but the entries into the forward half in the first two quarters was not helping any of the forwards.

Ayce has played quite well over the last month when playing forward, but he really struggled to get his hands also on the ball this week such was the quality of the ball delivery.

Some observations
The shepherding rule is a joke . Just because a player can't get to a contest doesn't mean he's shepherded out !!
Lot of top ups today, and a few were found wanting .
Lot of zoning in the back half. Team was overly tall, and we lacked run .
Honey church's execution was ordinary( tried hard) Hrovat once again on a few occasions got caught not taking the first option .
Agree with others Boyd was decent in the ruck .
Minson played frustrated, and the whole team played without discipline .
Poor day at the office

Really didn't like Minson's game. With the development first mantra of the team, I would have Campbell or Boyd/Roughy combo ahead of him in the ruck.
