Whitten Oval is the place that global warming forgot.

For those in the western suburbs, how's it looking this morning? Looking forward to freezing my cudgels off today.

Good for Clay though. Pretty sure I've been present for all of his ruptured ACL's
Yes, game 4 is what I'll be doing, kudos to those brave enough to face the conditions out there.

I think I'm in the same boat re Clay, too. Perhaps it's good that we aren't there.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

The day he did it at Whitten Oval in the VFL may have been one of the saddest afternoon's at the footy I've ever had. Being able to see his mum in tears and all the players reactions close up certainly put a different spin on it.

Bloody perfect weather here at the home of the Dogs.

              No Hamling. Late change likely?

There was a whisper about Adams leaving the track early yesterday, so perhaps Hamling has gone over as a precaution.

1st to the Dogs after some bullocking work by Jong.

Another goal straight from the centre. Jong to Lynch to Minson to Smith back to Lynch by hand who finishes on his left from 40 on the run. Slick stuff.

Boyd drops a simple chest mark but Geelong infringes in the next contest, goal to Hayes.

Beautiful transition after a strong Webb mark. Switches to Collins who laces out a 50m pass, then onto Adcock who hits up a leading Boyd for a simple mark.

                              Misses.

                              19-0

Footscray dominating. Jong hits up 66 who converts.

                                25-1 about 10 mins in.
