Re: Round 10 Footscray Bulldogs v Geelong

Its an interesting one with Boyd they seem to play him in the ruck to develop his fitness base yet at the cost of developing his forward craft. He is a better ruckman than forward at this stage but I'm not sure thats what we require out of him. Its a fine line a reckon and sometimes Bevo's mantra of flexibility can work against players.

Geelong with the first in 2nd qtr after Collins gets lost on the overlap. He has a long way to go.

Clark misses after a soft free for them.

Geelong starting to win it around the stoppages. Dogs can't get any run.

Adcock with a horrible turn over switch in the corridor. Nearly cost us a cheap goal but Geelong misses.

Geelong playing a Malthouse-esque game plan along the wings.

Footscray with a soft free and goal. Will marks and kicks from 50 and misses.

Bailey Dale's kicking has been off so far. Misses a short target going into the 50.

Dale makes a mockery of my last post and lasers it into Webb.

Turning into a slog. Neither team can get a run on.

Another scrappy kick into the 50, Dale takes the ball, strong out of a tackle but can't do anything with it.

Is it nearly half time comrade? I'm going to head down but I don't want to get there at the start of the break.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Smith centring kick to big Tom but he misses set shot.

Play opens up, Clay gets on the end of it, runs into 50, takes on Geelong player, forced onto his right and curls it around to Boyd for the easy chest mark 30 out directly in front. Boyd misses woefully to the left.
