I think Honey is just a very good VFL player. He just isn't clean enough for a AFL forward role and too small for an inside mid role. He endeavour is fantastic.

I think HC is easily AFL standard. Sadly he is at the wrong club to be given a prolonged run in the senior team. Looks inevitable he'll land somewhere else and be good solid senior player.
An easy win against an ordinary opponent, so need to be careful how we judge the performances, having said that some AFL players got amongst it.
Thought Wilbur was BOG, would've chosen HC, but his disposal just lets him down at times. Can't fault his tenaciousness and would clearly slot straight into the seniors if we had further midfield injuries before the year is out.
The other two of the trio coming back in Campbell and Williams played solid games first up. Bailey Williams is so clean when he gets the ball - I suggest his time in the AFL has really benefitted his confidence and he has matured no end over the year from Round 1 to now.
Stevens got a lot of the ball but still doesn't take the best option first time on occasions, nonetheless, he was hard at it and one of the reasons for our dominance around the ground. He left the field at HT and headed off to Etihad.
Lynch got a fair bit of the ball as did Hamilton, but Lynch (the rookie) would be my preferred pick over Hamilton if I had to put one of them up to the AFL. Deccy is so hot and cold with his disposal - one minute he hits up a player on the chest, the next he handballs to a player in a worse position - no consistency in his decision making/ability.
Adcock played well and keeps himself in the frame if we need to cover any further 'experience' requirements back or midfield.
Stringer had a slow start and will likely be better for the run, but didn't dominate the game nor have the influence many at the ground were hoping for.
I am not sure where this leaves him - does he play a further game in the twos or go back into the seniors for the last game against Freo. I was certainly of the view his poor form in the seniors warranted him being dropped, but it just seems too late in the year to have him regain form in the twos given one round to go. Have to leave it to the MC to make the call.
Bailey Dale showed his class on a number of occasions, and played a bit more physical but could've play a whole lot more. Another pre-season in the gym will help.
If we had to bring someone up from the VFL on today's form, it would be the usual suspects - Wil, HC and Stevens I guess, but I'd be tempted to bring in Williams for his disposal skills alone and run off half back.
In finishing, I must mention the very solid and even performance across the board, from the VFL listed players. They have really started to play well at the pointy end of the season and it will be interesting to see how they go in the upcoming final series.
There is no sadder sight than a young pessimist.
Great summary, can't really disagree with any of it.
Thought Williams and Stringer were the obvious AFL caliber talents out there, with Stevens, Minson, HC and Campbell the next tier down.
Pretty happy with the return of TC. I'm desperate for him to come back in the team and become Camhead again. He didn't do his chances of a call up any harm but reckon he probably needs one more run at VFL level.
In regards to VFL players, Hannan was eye catching again. Reckon he finds himself on a list next year.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
Interesting that today they played Hannan across half back - he was really able to show a lot more of his skills versus playing in his usual half fwd role.
