I think you will find that it's six flags in nine years if you count the years we actually played in the comp. 1919,1920, 1923, 1924, 2014, 2016

Hard to see how any/all of Jong/Honeychurch/Stephens/Hrovat stay. Far too good to be playing VFL full time.

Just catching up with this game. Great to hear. Amazing effort to win the flag given all the injuries through the year leading to players being required by our AFL team. Jong's dominance is interesting as another big bodied contested mid can't go astray versus Sydney. Suckling and Jong both have fair claims for a GF start (Suckling will be an in for mine) which will make for some very hard calls.

Bar injuries I wouldn't change anything but it's good to see Jong could stand up to grand final heat despite coming back from an operation only 17 days ago.

Not sure if winning 2 vfl grand finals in 3 years will give him an edge over other young players in the team. Also if we play him next Saturday it would be an incentive for him to stay on with us beyond this year.

Went along to the game today. Great day out and our fans were excited after last night. Top effort from our team. Lin Jong, Tom Campbell very good. Liked how Nash and Long went. Stayed for the presentation at the end didn't go out on the ground this time. Will Jong play next week? Who will make way.

What an effort by Ash Hansen. The way he was able to conjure up a structure that produced enough wins to give us a shot at the right time of the year, whilst topping up with ultra young VFL listed talent, is something to behold.

He's a great asset for the club.

Brilliant wasn't it.

Good win. Casey defended well today and really forced poor entries and shots on goal. 3rd quarter we carved them up, clean and quick movement and they had no answer for it. Overall the game wasn't a great spectacle but an enjoyable day.
