I’m here at present and only VFL players out on the ground. Dogs with an early goal.

QT - all square 4.1 apiece. Just a couple of observations of our VFL team - very small but busy forward line, no ruck to speak of (the second ruck being used is a midfielder Billy Crofts). CCP came off the ground late with an ankle injury - important player for this team, hopefully nothing serious.

HT Dogs 8.5 to 6.2. Surprisingly Billy Crofts rucked for most of that qtr and it was an effective move as he was also a dominant mid. CCP had strapping on his knee and didn’t come back onto the ground albeit he was still dressed to play sitting on the bench.

Interesting that the back up ruck wasn’t Gardner but rather Hargreaves (who normally plays FF). Need to recruit another ruck for the VFL team if we are serious…no particular stand outs to date. L Kennedy playing Mid and Hynes Fwd.
