Thats disappointing. Based off training I’d of picked Baker over Gallagher in the seniors.

Some redeeming comments - Coffield has played all the game so far and has looked reasonably steady. Smith holding his own in ruck (Werribee ruck looks a bit raw). Buku probably the best of the back 5 AFL listed players. L Kennedy getting a bit of the ball playing mid field.

Treloar is today wearing headphones on the bench and giving feedback to the players. He very much seems the type to get into coaching after his playing days end.

3/4 Time - Werr 8.2 to Dogs 5.13. Only 7 pts in it but Werr dominating field posn. Baker redeemed himself that qtr - tried his guts out to get the ball moving. Gardy fwd when not in the ruck that qtr.

Not really surprising with our injury list already eating into our depth, and a pretty new & raw batch of VFL listed players this year I think.

May be a pretty dire start to the season when we’re usually pretty good.

Shame Croft injured himself, I wonder if he was a sneaky chance for a debut tonight before the injury? G mention he looked quite upset with the injury which would make sense but if it spoiled his debut

True around new VFL players - many were rotated thru the two halves. Not a lot of height amongst them unfortunately either.
