Reports that Shai Bolton has put contract talks on hold and has strong interest from Adelaide.

Yeah, nah, forget that I ever mentioned either of them. Or Brisbane.

I'd been making a quilt all morning and I think I went mad for a bit.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Tom Lynch from Adelaide did sign a new contract during the week.

Should we be making a play for Dylan Shiel?

Triple M’s Hot Breakfast footy reporter Tom Browne believes Dylan Shiel’s desire to stay at GWS won’t stop Victorian clubs chasing him, naming three clubs who would still be “desperate” to land him.

Shiel is contracted until the end of next season with GWS, but that hasn’t stopped speculation about his future over the course of the year.

He recently moved to quash that speculation, telling Triple M he is "pretty happy up here (in Sydney)" and ruling it out.

Browne said it won’t stop Victorian clubs making an offer.

“I know he wants to stay at the Giants, I acknowledge that,” he said.

“The Giants have got, I think, some salary cap issues as well, so keep an eye on that.”

Yes. He's a free agent next year, so if GWS think he might go next year for first round compo or a trade, they might take a trade this year. He's going to cost a lot in a trade. Our pick 5 and a young talented player, maybe Caleb Daniel. Someone who JMac really loves, who is tradable, would be ideal.

I don't think we can compete with Carlton who would throw bigger $$$ and pick 1 to GWS for him if he wants to return to Victoria.

I acknowledge GWS have cap issues though - signing Lids and Griff doesn't exactly seem like a smart move anymore.
