His rate of improvement in testing without any footy to play shows a pretty high level of determination as well.

A quick player who is agile and can jump at the footy is a good thing if can all be put together.

I see him as an Easton Wood type - super athlete who needs to learn the game and will find it easier behind the ball.

I won't lie - I was hoping for a small crumbing forward. When Winder was still available I was hopeful. Good luck to the kid but with a late pick in that range (like Butler last year) I'd hope we look more for need.

I was staggered we didn't bite at Winder after the NGA forward fell through. He seems to have the exact small forward weapons that we need).

I seem to recall a couple of years ago when looking at the NGA lists Reef McInnes was ours, and there was some sort of realignment?
Has too much red wine warped my memory or is this true?

Not sure about McInnes but think we had dibs on Sharp & Stevens at one stage
