Why didn't they make this a curtain raiser to the main game then the players could have watched each others games and also there would be a better crowd for the VFL.

I said this for the last Ballarat game when the VFL played at Whitten Oval. Makes perfect sense so no idea why they don't do it. Maybe a lack of changing room space to accommodate 4 teams at Mars or some Covid separation protocols?

Man that team gets real thin real quick with the injuries we’ve had. Also might be the weakest group of Footscray players we’ve had in a long time. Even Bevo couldn’t fall in love with any of this group, surely.

Only ones I could see potentially getting a look in are Chatfield and Vanderheuval.

It would be worth recruiting a fringe AFL midfielder and never picking him just so there is ANYONE between the arcs capable of hitting a target.
