    Yep, that’s why I like the selection. If Arty isn’t a small forward (I don’t think he is), and he’s got another 18 months, then it’d be great to see what he can do in another role. Where would he be best? Wing or HBF?

        How do they work out the draft order?

                            His running capacity and pace in his highlights makes me think that we've chased the closest thing to O'Driscoll.

                                Yeh, this is it. We're not just covering an injury for the season, we're covering a retirement of a recent draftee.

                                If we didn't pick a tall defender/small defender/back up ruck/whatever else at the draft last year, what has changed with our list profile since then to make our recruiters pick differently? Nothing.

                                I'm glad that we went for an AOD replacement. Good luck Ryp!

                                    -Like that we have gone external. Maybe some self interest in wanting the VFL succeed this year
                                    -Also happy at the type of player we have identified in being a small forward.
                                    -Ideally would have wanted a more a prolific goal kicker, as I feel like we are lacking in this but I guess this time of year with a relatively shallow talent pool to pick from, you have got to speculate. Hopefully the little dabble at long odds pays off. Go Ryp

                                        Just checked the list of the 24 players nominated by clubs to undergo a medical and Kelsey is on that list. It appears we have had an interest in him for a while.

                                            Fox AFL a few days back mentioned that there were a couple of clubs interested in him and we were one of them.

                                                            How the hell do Richmond only take two picks and pass on another with their injuries. ?
                                                            It?s not like it?s a gamble , if they don?t work you just delist them at the end of year.
                                                            A few experienced players in the draft to. They can?t complain about injuries after knocking back an opportunity to get another player in.
