I think Tiller would play ahead of both these players.
More of an In Bruges guy?

I'm probably on my lonesome here but I would keep him on for another year.

Let's face it. If Roughy or Cordy had of had the season at Willi that Skipper has had we would all be drooling, but they haven't, yet . I'd like to see those youngsters force him out of the No.1 ruckman role in the same way Boumann had dislodged Wight.

Skipper is a decent back up ruckman. What happens next year if Huddo or Minson go down? We've been lucky this year, so far. But until one of the younger rucks forces his way past Skipper then I don't see the point of releasing him. Competition for places in one of the most important positions on the ground is a good thing.

From his point of view, how long would he want to keep waiting? If it was me, I'd have asked to be released/traded.

I wouldn't be against it either. The boys aren't ready yet and we need at least one more battle hardened ruckman on the books so if someone else cannot be found at least we know what we have with Skipper.

With all the changes in various teams this week is Hudson a chance to rest and Skip be selected

Its a credit to Skips work ethic and character that he has delivered such a fine season

            Any chance of the Liston?

I asked Rocket if he was prepared to roll the dice and go into next year with just Hudson & Minson in the ruck with only Roughead and Cordy as backup.

He replied that Cordy wouldn't ruck next year and thought it a big risk to only have Roughead in reserve.

I'm not convinced Skipper is done with yet.

I would hope that Roughead will be able to play a role next year if required.

Presuming Wayde doesn't play this week he would have played just 1 game over the past 2 seasons. I know he is there as insurance, but at some point we have to cut him free and try again.

He'd have to be very close to being the favorite for the Liston

Like that Hawthorn ruckman last year? He ended up missing the premiership because the match commitee asked him to take a break in R22 and couldnt get back in-I just cant think of his name. Which is ironic because if he was a premiership player I'd have no trouble recalling him.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

One of Robert Campbell or Simon Taylor.

I thought was omited before round 22 though

Simon Taylor was rested in round 22 with Renouf coming in, performing well and holding his spot for the rest of the year.
