Might be given another chance. Could be one player to look at, is more mobile than Markovic.

Warren Benjamin is another who recorded one of the fastest times of the 2008 draftees. He is a tough inside player at 187cm and 85kg's according to the AFL prospectus.
Neither of the 2 are anything to get overly excited about, yet again which delisted players are?
I know it's a bit silly, but it just occurred to me that North have a Ben Warren and a Warren Benjamin... you couldn't plan that!

According to the Richmond board Nahas and Rance are going to be moved on; any interest there?

I would say yes to both, surprised that they are being moved on.

Look to have fallen out of favour.

Both are terrible decision makers with the ball in hand, though. Rance has really struggled to make an impression at AFL level for a number of reasons. Not big enough to play on KP's, bad skills/decision making and he often is caught out on the lead. He should probably get an opportunity at another club but I don't think we need his type.

Nahas is worth looking at, might be better in a good side but he's erratic with the ball in hand and does spray it quite a bit.

And now on to my annual push for the Dogs to go after Matt Spangher. Very unselfish key defender (ie: he actually tries to chop out and assist his fellow defenders, none of whom return the favour - I'm looking at you Brett Jones) with good size and pace. He's out of contract and will not be at West Coast next season IMO. I'd like some key defensive cover on our list that can actually a) run on top of the ground and b) compete against their direct opponent one-out. We seem to have plenty of key defenders on our list that can do one or the other - Spangher can do both and he will not cost us much to get him across. He is not a Woosha favourite for whatever reason but I think he could thrive at the right club and under the right coach.
Spangher wants out of West Coast.

Sedat better get onto our recriuting team

If Spangher agreed to come to us his manager should be struck off immediately.

Why would he come to a side who already have Lake, Morris and Williams?

I would see him closer to competing with Shaggy.

Would he be a decent enough replacement for Everitt [if he goes] and more of a defensive option, considering Everitt was drafted as a future KP Defender? Could also give us another option for Lake moving forward?

Not sure about Mulligan & Markovic, so we really only have Boumann developing as a tall defensive option in the bank.

Callum Sinclair from Port Melbourne (201cm) might be worth a look at as a tall forward although he might clash position wise with Ayce Cordy.

As a backup. Its better to have him come in who can at least provide some run off the backline as opposed to Hahn. Could also allow Lake to move forward more frequently when needed.

                          Like he is at WC?

The point SS was making is that if Spangher is looking to play regular AFL footy (which from reports he is) his manager would be silly to send him to our team as he would come under no guarantee of a regular game. He would be better off at a club like Richmond who are crying out for tallish defenders.

If Boumann and Mulligan do not progress (looking likely), and if Everitt is traded away (also looking a distinct possibility), we have Lake and Williams to fill the key defensive posts, Morris to lock down and precious little else coming through. Spangher would be the ideal 'inbetweener' that has the pace to play on a Milne type and can also take the bigger forwards at a pinch. Could also free up Shaggy to play further up the field. Just on Shaggy, I am a massive fan but his form drop this season is concerning, he isn't getting any younger, and we don't have anyone else coming through. I think Spangher would get regular games for us but I do agree that the likes of Richmond and Hawthorn present even greater opportunities to do so.

I've jumped off the Boumann bandwagon somewhat, but he will still be on the list next year and has the athletic capabilities to be a like-for-like replacement for Shaggy if required.

If he can harden up and embrace body contact, he'll make it.

Similar to Everitt, I think he lacks confidence which probably comes from not having the full backing of the coaching staff (his own fault due to past misdemeanors). If he gets a good pre-season behind him, bulks up some more and has a solid run in the NAB Cup (and keeps his nose clean), I think we could see much improved player next year.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

You tell him if he is good enough there is a spot for you. He could also play a Hargrave type role.
A 4th rounder is a small price to pay.
