Minson is the most incoordinated footballer going around. I would look at trading him now whilst he has some value, I would look at a mature aged ruckman as a replacement to assist Roughy in his development.
Addison, Reid gone. Hooper will not make it IMHO does not have enough tricks for one so small. Mulligan was dreadful.
    Is.

Which mature ruckman would you look at trading for?

Can't agree on Addison, I thought he was terrible and after so long on the AFL system to get carved up by VFL opposition was a very negative sign. He has the endeavour, just not the talent.

Panos' kicking was excellent but only one opportunity came from a genuine lead - he got a couple of cheapy 20m sideways passes simply because his teammates looks to let him finish with his footskills. Wouldn't be disappointed if he got promoted though.

        Excellent counter.

I like the look of Vez. But if Hooper is ahead of him, there is clearly a problem.

If I were McCartney I'd be telling them both that this will be their last year if they don't get fitter. It's a hard line, but it's clear the message hasn't sunk in yet.

With all due respect to Hooper he is no where near as good as Vez. i think the Willi selectors didn't have the balls to make a hard call on this one.

Willi's biggest problem is the quality of its' midfield. They have Johnson and Jolley as 2 of their starting centre square midfielders and they are plodders. Good footballers but plodders and Jolley has very limited disposal capability. Both consistently struggle to make an impact in big games

I'm not convinced about Panos. He is only 191cm, don't think he has the pace or marking ability to cut it at AFL level.

              Same basket as John Anthony.

One of the worst players I have seen in the tri colours and I have seen a few.
The mature aged ruckman could be playing in the WAFL, SANFL, VFL any one of the lower leagues. It would mean only giving up a late pick.
Interesting we were looking at Trent West this time last year.
What we may get for Minson now will be alot more than this time next year.

I don't know how Addison was considered as one of the best for Willi, he was appalling.

I thought Howard was probably best for Willi on the day, but clearly with Port loading up on ex AFL players, our pups could not go with them and would have learnt alot from the GF.

German seemingly did not make any major moves, especially with Galea out bodying Mulligan to kick 6 and Rose 5, surely he could have done something.

Agree he can't be a genuine outside mid.

To me, there's no reason Wallis can't model himself on a Jordan Lewis type. Mick Malthouse was talking about Lewis on Saturday morning saying - how people had told him "Why would you draft a slow midfielder like Lewis" - but that a final like Friday night shows that there is still very much a place in football for the real 'footballer' who knows how to play and is hard at it.

He really needs to either build up his confidence very soon, build up his aggression - or both. Is just far too timid to play a Ruck/Forward role.

Remembering we were looking to off load him last year to GC, but they picked Fraser over him.

Makes me think that Minson holds very little value at all if other clubs think like GC.

One of Bellchambers, McIntosh, Maric or Simpson would be nice.

If Clayton had his way, he would have got Minson. With Fraser nearing the end, it may be time for them to look at Minson.
I still think Port is a good match for Minson.

He did belt his opponent before the bounce in the F50, signalled his intent. Just didn't seem to have any presence during the game; crashed a couple of packs in the first qtr then went into his shell.
