If he doesn't cost us much, ie the late pick, why not.

      Because he is a spud.

Can See the positives and negatives for Setanta.
Great back up for our second ruck ( Cordy and Roughy both fragile) But we need to get footy into these two quickly! He has a crack, but is like a bull in a china shop at times. Interesting times ahead

Maric and Urqhart are two we should have a good look at to see if they might be of use to us

Make up your mind, in an earlier post you say if he was any good Carlton would not have delisted him. Now you say with a late pick, why not?

That teammate was a Cloke. That alone is enough to put him on our list. Seems as though the Sydney clubs are keen so he probably will go there.

I wouldn't mind having a crack at Urquhart. Coad would be a decent pick up as well.

Reservations, sure. For a while there, I had my heart in my mouth. I might be weird, but I think kicking someone on the ground is worse than punching them. And Baz, even with his past indiscretions, had ability. I can't say the same for the big Irishman.

I'm not so sure an elbow that KO'd an unsuspecting opponent would be any better than what you are indicating but that's your choice. I guess a lot of peoples opinions about players are often formed by the ability of the player more than the action.

True, ability does alter perceptions. Just look at the weekly calls for demotion/dismissal/public flogging every time someone has a bad game, followed by the hailing of the next big thing when they snag a goal or two.

Perhaps if Hall had been trying to get to us early on in his career, I'd have backed away.

but then again, we don't need him

                            Who did he elbow?

If you're referring to Staker that was a left punch.

I'm not picking a fight, genuinely curious if he actually elbowed someone else?

You're probably right. It was a king hit of sorts but Staker never really saw it coming.
What did he do to Chris Grant?

Hall also tried to elbow the Collingwood player IIRC
