His draft camp results from 12 months back with his endurance weren't impressive. His repeat sprints were really bad and his 3km performance was 11.38.
As a comparison Michael Talia did 10.53.
Thanks Gary, very interesting feedback. I expect him to put on at least another 5kg given the focus to increase his strength.
Therefore we probably won't know how good he could become until 2014 onwards.

He's progressed a lot quicker than I thought he would. Plenty of work to do though

Just watched the today as I was away this weekend.

Pretty valiant effort from Williamstown, in the end it was more mature bodies and three ability to win contest at crucial times that was the difference.

          Bulldogs players;

Talia- Outstanding in the first half and very good overall. Backed himself to provide some rebound in the second half and his kicking wasn't too bad.

Roberts- Played forward and kicked 3. Could've kicked 5 and was the only Willi tall forward to have an impact.

Hill- Took a couple of really strong marks but just didn't get involved enough. Looked to have strained a groin late.

Greenwood- Quieter than previous weeks, won a bit of the footy in close but didn't have a big impact.

          Panos- Didn't touch it.

Hooper- Very quiet, missed a pretty gettable shot late.

Moles- Got a few touches out wide and provided some run, but in a tough game of contested footy it was never going to suit him.

Must have had at least 4 shots at goal and missed everyone. Let him self down.

              .
Stache, were do you see Roberts playing longer term, key forward or key back?

Would you persist with Hill and Panos?
More of an In Bruges guy?

I'm not sure with Roberts as yet, it'll probably be decided by team needs and where he grabs his opportunity first. A bit similar to Carlisle at Essendon.

I wouldn't persist with both, I guess it just depends on who the club feels has more potential to make it.

My understanding is that the MC sees more upside in Hill than Panos. On what we saw of our key forwards this year you would have to think that Roberts has the potential to be one of our key forwards in 2013.
