            Correct.

I played a season at Parkside as well, Jimmy Condos and Sedat Sir were there at the time and the great Zeno was often around the traps.

Well, nice to see the Adelaide media is unbaised and completely fair.

NOW it's personal. Kane Cornes' suspension for what was little more than a push in the back is crazy, writes......... Graham Cornes.

Off to Melton at this ungodly hour on a Sunday morning to watch my two nephews play in their first-ever grand final. Under 10s for Sunbury. My eldest nephew is the captain.

Not often I get to see premierships so I'll be pretty chuffed if they win it.

The Under 14 D division in the Riddell District Football League has only four teams. The second team from Romsey and Woodend, and the third team from Gisborne Rookies and Rupertswood.

At the end of the home and away season Gisborne Rookies has won one game and had a percentage of 25, yet still made the finals as there are only four teams.

They won a Semi Final v Rupertswood by one point, then won their Preliminary Final v top placed Romsey by two points. To see the smiles on the faces of these kids who had done it so tough was great.

After a very difficult year they too play in the grand final at the No 2 Oval at McPherson park Melton today. Good Luck

My nephews lost, by two points. The eldest was shattered, and that's an understatement. He built himself up all week, carb loading and serious as hell. Kid was in the zone, went hard at it all day, and when they lost, even though he played a blinder, he was Rohan Smith 1997. His little bro, also in the side, couldn't care and had fun, better attitude I reckon.

Anyway, always next year. They're Dees fans, so used to the hurt.

Riddells I think. I don't follow it as closely as I should, basically attended to do my unclely duties.
