        Yeah that has been the case for a while. I remember the final year the bus was running they were struggling to get enough people to cover the bus costs.

        We may have crossed paths because I used to catch the bus with the group for a few years.

            Story as I understand goes the main organiser before the group thinned out was Nat Brown's mum who moved away after Nat moved to Tiges. Im only guessing there is a fair logistical task and need to cover costs if people don't participate. If the club thought they could generate enough memberships from regional locations (and satellite towns) you'd hope they could add the duties of logistics to a membership staff member. Or maybe that idea has been run and won? Don't know. But with a few Bendigo boys playing now and the next few years, now would be a time to think about it.

                    touché. But immediately I'm throwing myself at a charity initiative over the next few months. If I cant make a go of it, then this might be on the cards!

                                    Pretty close from the sound of it. Who for us has played well so far in that first half for those who have braved the conditions and gone.

                                                            Tutt and Goodes looked our best. Roberts did a good job down back. Ayce was ok in spots, competed well.

                                                            Hrovat and Honey showed flashes. Pretty ordinary game and umpires were shocking.
