Footscray v Coburg - Saturday 24th May at Coburg Oval
Re: Footscray v Coburg - Saturday 24th May at Coburg Oval
Joel Corey putting a lot of time into Mitch at 3 quarter time. Tommy Williams is here, looks fit. Gonna push half backs up high and try to really hit the scoreboard hard this quarter.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
Re: Footscray v Coburg - Saturday 24th May at Coburg Oval
Footscray ran out victors by 34 points in a pretty lack lustre performance when you consider the number of players with AFL experience compared to Coburg. Campbell dominated the ruck to provide plenty of ball supply to Hrovat Honeychurch and Wallis. Redpath again impressed at FF and has been much improved this year. Talia and JJ both lifted today in improved performances. Grant did start slowly but did better as the game went on. Lower and Russell although not listed do add depth and experience to the Bulldogs team. Coburg under coach Peter German had won their previous two games but lacked the AFL experience of Footscray although you couldn't question their endeavour.

Thanks NBP for the summary.
Any players put their hand up for senior selection?

Missed most of the first half but i did see that Grant was a class above. Didn't get heaps of it but when he did get it he was quality. It comes down to his conditioning now and how many games macca wants Grant to have before he is considered ready.
