That's a strong side. A lot of AFL experience in there.

The old grand stand at Frankston with a nice sea breeze and sunshine was a great place for watching footy. While the results haven't gone their way since AFL teams took over the VFL, I respect that the Frankston guys have kept galvanising their town and businesses to keep on going through the ups and downs. They said no to a lot of money from Carlton a long while back, it took a lot of gumption to say no, I guess it's subjective whether that was good or bad in hindsight. But some really good people in and around them. That said, I look forward to good reports of us beating them.

Agree. Big second half of the season coming up for him. Hasn't had a great run with injuries, but could still be cut come years end.

I really want to see him have a good run and get a shot at the seniors. He was looking red hot in pre season. It was shattering for his injury to come when it did.

Obviously without knowing how, but good to see both big men get on the scoreboard in presumably windy / rainy conditions.

HALF TIME: Frankston 7.8 (50) lead Footscray 7.7 (49). Plenty of chances for both teams in the last few minutes, none taken. Go Doggies!

Lachie Hunter was lively in the first half along with Cordy (2 goals) and Stringer (strong marks). David Iaccarino showing promise (1 goal).
