Macca has commented that Tom has been concentrating on his ruck craft, I think he should be developed as a forward that can pinch hit if need. Cordy becomes the next main ruck.
Then this will leave us to chase a good back man or two.
Campbell has all the hallmarks of a ruckman and as a pinch hitter in the FP. I would hasten to add that his ruck work is as good as Will's and will prove an ideal replacement eventually.
Stringer has impressed this year as the best option as a leading FF.
We still lack a quality CHF

I think we need to tread carefully with this.
I agree with you in part ... Jake Stringer and his badly broken leg spring to mind though. In recent times, our medical team have done their due diligence with future medical problems with players. If they give Patton the all clear, I say we throw everything including the sink at him.

If we did offer Patton $5mil/5 Years.....and he wouldn't come across - I'm a bit worried about what that implies!!

I heard Garlick on SEN, he denied we'd made that offer - but for me, it wasn't a super convincing denial.

Risk little, win little. We're a conservative club, maybe that needs to change somewhat.

That he's poorly advised or super confident that Collingwood will offer him more.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

We're the club who believes in taking it in turns.

There is already a thread on this. Can the mods please tidy this up.
