Where could you see him playing at the senior level? With his athleticism could he be a Picken type run with midfielder or defender? Looks okay as a forward as well

Look forward to your report for the second game. I've just arrived at the VFL.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Easy win to the Cannons Wright hobbled off the ground early in the last quarter and didn't come back on

Hope it was precautionary and nothing serious.

Calder burst ou the blocks and always looked the more likely side.

Thank you for all the updates. Let us know how the draft prospects went today, when you get a chance.

Based on the early game yesterday, I would consider the following as AFL quality or potential AFL quality who I'd be prepared to draft:-

Wright - moves well for a big unit, gets to and creates contests although need to clunk more marks when he makes the right position in the contest. Comfortable on the lead. Good kick. Can take a turn in the ruck. If we can land him I'd be very happy.

Lonie - very short, but a high production player who is best utilised in the forward half but has enough tricks to play higher up the ground. Great goal sense. Good user and decision maker under pressure. Can take a mark on the lead and also take a high flying mark. After half time when they were warming up for the second half, he was first back to the mark every time, just an indication he works hard. Probably a top 25 pick on talent despite his size. I'm a big fan.

Cavka - got a few mentions above too so I won't go over it again. Hard running player who can play a variety of roles. Not sure where he sits just yet, but I'd guess inside the first 15-20.

Lamb - didn't impress me as much as last week which probably goes to what GVGjr was saying. Still rate him as a talent and will be interesting to see how he develops in an AFL system.

Dale - I'm not sure he's a popular selection but I rate him highly on the past 2 weeks and would take him on a senior list. Good mover, great kick. Gets it done. I figure he's a second-third round pick but would compliment our list nicely.

Foster - didn't do a huge amount that I saw but I like his shape and size. I guess he's worth a punt but my preference would be as a rookie selection and I think he'd need a year or two more of development, improving strength and fitness before being a realistic option to play consistent AFL footy.

Can any of the SA posters report in Durdin?
Looks like he played in the ruck for West Adelaide under 18's.
