I've been to see Captain America the Winter Solider and whilst I was a CA comic fan as a kid, the series of show hasn't done a lot for me.
The producers seem to over dramatise the powers of these super hero's and try to go for spectacular visual scenes rather than necessarily having a great story line.

It's a decent movie though but not a great one from my perspective. I did like the introduction of the Falcon to the story line who was a long time ally of CA when I used to read the comics.

They have all come up a bit short on what I was hoping for. The animation of the Hulk in the Avengers went against the grain for me.
Hawkeye, was never as 'super' in the comics as he was in the movie either.
I've enjoyed them but they are obviously catered for the kids of today more than the kids from yesterday (or year) like me.

I recently saw Captain America 2 and quite enjoyed it but I totally get what you mean about trading in some story for some visually spectacular scenes. I'm kind of ok with it as I never read the comics or anything like that, but I can understand that for some people its an opportunity wasted.

otherwise - Has anyone seen the trailers for Godzilla? It looks ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!
