I've watched a lot of it but never really got into it. Something about shows where the criminals are the hero's doesn't appeal greatly to me. You've probably watch too much to walk away from it now but I don't think it's gets any better.

Tend to agree. I must admit though the first few episodes in i was wondering would it live up to season 1, but since then i have loved every minute of it.

The soundtrack is extremely well selected and definitely adds to the scenes.
More of an In Bruges guy?

Hero or protagonists? Tony Soprano/Walter White/Don Draper and many others were protagonists but were by no means heroes

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Although Nancy Reagan was a bit of a groupie herself. She had a long standing affair with Frank Sinatra.

                      Thanks guys.

I might give it another episode or two and see if it's just more of the same or not. I haven't watched one in a couple of weeks. The characters all seem so superficial and there's next to no substance to any of it. I'm wondering if the audience is just supposed to be satisfied because we're watching outlaw tough guys and that's cool.

That's the problem I had with it. A lot of it wasn't even close to being believable.

After loving the recent movie with Gary Oldman, I went back and watched the original series of Tinker tailor, soldier spy. Alec Guiness is awesome. It's espionage in cardigans. The second series, Smiley's People is also great. Reminds you of what great TV is.

Gary Oldman is uniformly brilliant in anything he does. Has been since he played Sid Visious in Sid and Nancy.

I'm going to DL from Amazon The Man in the High Castle today. There's some freaking hot weather coming our way and I figure two test matches that'll run a day or two short.
