3 down is going to be a hard one to recover from. Voges and Rogers must take us to lunch.

When has Clarke played a decent innings in the last 3 ashes series when the ashes were still to be won?

Smith has now got into a bad habit of walking across his stumps just before he has a shot. Should never have gone out today to that ball.

He's in bad form no doubt. I'm not sure what they will do with him but they could probably move him down the order which is probably not much more than a cosmetic change.

This is the situation Voges and Rogers have been picked for, let's see if it pays off

Voges looks very suss around off stump for a player with as much experience as he has

Here I was thinking after the break that if we all just leave the ball, play the obvious ones and stick it out we might end up with something above 270 and that would be reasonable.

The problem is all we want to do is hit the ball.

Really poor shot Marsh, no reason to be fishing out there
