All countries play t20 so how come it hasn't affected them?

They just throw their hands at the ball , and there's was one ball that was tracking to hit the pegs in the first seven overs!!
That's not knowing your off stump

That's those huge baseball bats they bat with. The power of those things mask ugly and flawed techniques more than T20 creates them. Remember when our batting coaches used to preach front foot to the pitch of the ball and follow through with a straight bat? Now top edges go for six.

Clarke lost his off stump a year and a half ago.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Players know what game they are playing adjust to that game.

The standard of test cricket is appalling currently. Not one country would be competitive against a good team from the 90's.

England is one of the worst ODI cricket countries on the planet. Their natural lack of aggression makes them suited to Test cricket in England and pretty much nothing else, and their record shows this.

Australia has desolved to where they can only beat teams on pitches without spin or swing.

At least Starc is trying to earn his pay cheque. Nice stuff.

Yet we still struggle to do that. Clarke's theory is the better the bowling, the more aggressive the batting should be...

England were horrible in Australia and we looked a million bucks. Now we're away and playing awful. Clearly if 20/20 is the issue it's affecting both teams who can manage in home conditions but fall apart outside their comfort zones.

Most teams are better at home so I'm not sure how t20has any relevance to that.

Maybe it was Hogg or someone in radio giving their view, can't remember.

Have to start examining Smith's spot at 3 with the way he's been nicking off. It will only ever be exposed when the ball is swinging but that big walk across the crease has got his mind scrambled and lost his off stump. No doubt he'll plunder runs on flat wickets but I don't think anyone is content with thrashing sides at home.

He's not a natural number 3 but when Clarke goes and he takes the captaincy I think it sends a great message if he bats at first drop. He'll be undoubtedly our best batsman, the only really proven player and captain of what could be a very young side...we're lumping the most pressure on a captain since probably AB and the lad is only 26, at least if he comes in early it gives the opportunity to dictate play before momentum is lost.

Good to see Shaun Marsh again gets some runs. All two of them were real class.
