Yep, he needs to prove he can get 50's
I'm not sure why he hasn't been more effective with the bat

He doesn't place enough value on his wicket and tends to throw it away when he is playing well.

We will bat again. We don't want to bowl Cummins into the ground and Pattinson probably still needs to be managed

Bat the balance of the day less 6 overs or so and hopefully we bowl them out on the 4th day

NZ just can't take a trick

New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult has been ruled out of the remainder of the Test series against Australia after scans revealed a fracture in his right hand.

The left-arm quick was struck on the hand by a Mitchell Starc delivery while batting on Saturday but returned to the field after being sent for scans during the tea break.

He bowled nine overs during Australia’s second innings, failing to pick up a wicket.

Boult missed the opening match of the series at Optus Stadium due to a rib issue.
