One of my colleagues is from Pakistan and he called him out before the series saying he was a quality batsman.

Its been an entertaining tour so far. Too dominated by the bat, but certainly interesting. The Aussies are building a habit of not being able to get the job done in the 4th innings. Personally our spin attack is just not threatening enough and our pace to reliant on a new ball. Thought we underbowled Cam Green.

Pakistan have always had a knack of being the best and the worst team, sometimes in the same game. All out for 148 in 50 overs then surviving 170

Labuschagne went into the series as the number 1 batsman in the world didn't he? He may not leaving Pakistan in the top 5.

You would have to say that Pakistan have probably edged the day. Lot resting on Green and Carey's shoulder's tomorrow morning. Another 150 runs would be handy given the way the wickets have played. Losing Warner and Lambo early was a real setback, but Smith and Khawaja's fightback was impressive and just what the doctor ordered. Both missed out on going big though so anything over 350 is going to be a good total from here.

On Smith I see a lot of his current issues to be down to his inability to get off strike. He seems to have lost the art of defending a good ball into the gap for 1. Recently his SR has been in the 30s while his career is 54. Singles are the way to dominate test cricket!.

A bit rough, he's made a 90 and a 44 chasing quick runs for the declaration. First duck was a run out, this one was a poor shot.

Smith's was a strange dismissal. He clipped the flap of his pad as he brought his bat down which I think lowered his bat speed such that he couldn't bring it down fast enough and was subsequently struck on the pad. You wonder how that happens to one of the best batsmen in the world.
