Right from the first ball NZ were dominant. Our 3 fast bowlers were costly. We never looked likely when we batted. In 20 overs you just don't have the time to "settle in".

We don't seem to ever get the balance right and we now are right behind with our NRR
Can someone explain why Maxwell got out the way that he did? Why play a highly risky shot given the position we were in.

It was not a timely dismissal and the shot selection is typically what Maxi does. Very hit or miss.

Kohli is a genius with the willow. That was next level, even by his lofty standards.

The 2 sixes he hit off Rauf, when they needed 28 off 8 balls, were as good as it gets.

Ridiculous rules with a free hit given at a crucial time -Pakistan robbed. How can it be a no ball when the player hit a six.

I'm not a big fan of international Twenty20 cricket but that was the best game I can recall seeing.

Amazing match but you gotta feel for Pakistan. I mean, that's line-ball at BEST and normally they aren't called. Then the 3 byes off the stumps which, while in the rules, is such bad luck.

That last over had pretty much everything. Can't imagine a more stressful sporting job than having to bowl the last over in a 20/20 like that. The pressure showed.

Strictly speaking that was not a no ball. The ball was 50/50 waist height, but the player is out of his crease - so doesn't count, then the resulting free hit would not have happened.

Amazing scenes, amazing atmosphere and third highest crowd ever at MCG for cricket.
