Re: T20 World Cup - 2022
They will come back on Monday afternoon if they can't complete the final on Sunday night. Worth noting the semis and final require a minimum of 10 overs per side rather than just 5 in the group stage.Comment

Re: T20 World Cup - 2022
This tournament had a deja vu feeling of the 1992 ODI World Cup in Australia all over again. Pakistan started that tournament horribly as well, and only snuck into the sudden death stages due to lucky results falling their way (like this tournament) but then ran the table for the rest of their matches and beat NZ in the SF and England in the Final. History could well be repeating - they are never less than entertaining to watch."Look at me mate. Look at me. I'm flyin'"Comment

Re: T20 World Cup - 2022
Glenn Maxwell's post-exit comments were mind-bogglingly arrogant and tone deaf, saying the quiet part out loud that Australian cricketers don't really give a toss about international T20 tournaments and only care about the franchises/leagues they are paid massive money to participate in.
Cricket fans don't need to hear that sort of rubbish from today's pampered, extremely well-remunerated stars. It's not as though Australian cricketers are being paid less than $50 a day and have to take unpaid leave from their full time jobs like Australian national cricketers in the 1970's had to do before they (quite rightly) defected to World Series Cricket."Look at me mate. Re: T20 World Cup - 2022
I'm no Maxwell fan but I did listen to the entire presser and I didn't think it as bad as the headlines have indicated. He should know better but I think he is receiving a bad report when he didn't say a lot wrong. Australian cricket is going down a real partnership with the players and the one disciplinarian was removed. It will be interesting to see if the players can perform to their ability.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Re: T20 World Cup - 2022
Great effort by Pakistan. Love them as a team. Hopefully they can bring it for the final.
My friend is going to the final (brought tickets before the first game), and is praying for an ind/pak final. I was there a few weeks ago for just a “normal” match. I can’t even fathom what a final with these 2 teams would be like. I like Pakistans chances more against England, so cmon the Poms tonight.I will never see #16 the same!!Comment

Re: T20 World Cup - 2022
Great final on paper - England are a professional outfit that just know how to get it done at the crunch. I think Pakistan are more talented on paper and I like the wicket-taking potential in their attack.
My head says England - Buttler and Stokes just scream 'big-game players' and they're a very savvy side.
Babar is the wildcard - he's starting to find touch and could really take this attack down. I think the slightly quicker MCG wicket suit Pakistan as well.Comment

Saffers lol. Wetting the bed in an international tournament once again. You can set your watch to it. Dutch were good today in all facets to be fair. The brilliant catch by Van De Merwe to dismiss Miller was top drawer stuff
Can Pakistan run the table and win the whole thing after being all but gone at 0-2? They could just as easily lose meekly to Bangladesh today and miss out on the semis.More of an In Bruges guy?Comment
