Why would they fake the crowd? This seems super tinfoil hat territory.
Don't they need to account for the dollars? It was absolutely packed where i was. All the corporate areas were full to the brim.BT COME BACK!

Though since you asked, what can the MCC gain from inflating the crowds? Higher advertising revenues and rents for food services.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment

Hey guys let's all create a mega conspiracy that no one will ever leak because we love the mcg so much to manipulate all the crowd data to get some extra cash on ads. Because we really have been struggling in that area at the G, so it's worth the risk.
This isn't big soccer!
Chef i excuse, he wasn't there and has been led astray by your crazy talk. Plus, macaroons.BT COME BACK!

Corporate areas mid week and a "soccer" game probably dont empty out as much to the seats either. I saw a load of people still in them during the game.BT COME BACK!

Incremental increases in revenues are usually tied to corporate bonuses, are they not? When an organisation only has so many levers to pull to increase revenues as is the case with the MCG, and all of those are tied to bums on seats, is it really that big of a stretch to think on occasion some bullshitting happens?
Additionally, grants and public funding for facilities like the MCG are tied to bums on seats. There's a direct incentive for the MCG to overstate attendances.
Anyway, lay off the crazy talk mate.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment

So you're saying suspicions of corporate skullduggery are crazy mega conspiracies by tin foil hat wearers because they haven't been exposed as true due to whistleblower leaks being confirmed? I guess profit gouging from Woollies and Coles is BS then, given nobody's ever come out with absolutely firm evidence of it happening.

I did, now I'm a proper Toon supporter.
Watching an 8-0 loss recovering from covid.
It was a shame if you didn't go Wednesday, not one first team player.
Can't blame Howe or players, stupid idea coming post season.
Another toon special finishing 7th and Europe is 1-6 and 8.BT COME BACK!
