They did a graphic that showed a draw at Anfield would put City ahead. I agree it was a big result for them.

Important win for us against Everton 2-0 at Old Trafford. Needed that one after 2 losses in a row in the EPL and to keep the pressure on Villa and Spurs.

Spurs had a great win against Villa 4-0 away from home. Ange doing a very good job in his first season as an EPL coach.

Great win. Kept a clean sheet too whcih is unusual. Love that all of the front players got involved with either scoring or assisting. The cross to Maddison rom Sarr was world class. Good result that they needed as they have a tough run of games coming up against Liverpool, City and Arsenal back to back.

Chef - that was two teams who sucked pretty hard and someone won.

Newcastle's defence is atrocious at the moment.

Was very impressed with Palmer. Wow the English have some talent coming through. Shame Gordon got injured as it may have been helpful for national selection.

Was a true mid table 6 pointer. Both teams decimated by injury.

Palmer is amazing, hes having a debut season to rival Hazards(both 21) and hes pretty close to world class already. Cant see him starting over Saka on the RW but Southgate will have a great backup option.

              OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.

Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United will play a friendly at the Melbourne Cricket Ground just three days after the Premier League season concludes.

It's 3 days after the end of the season??!!!

Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United will reportedly play a friendly at the Melbourne Cricket Ground just three days after the Premier League season concludes.
According to the Times, the fixture will be played on Wednesday May 22 at the 100,000-capacity stadium, after Spurs and Newcastle end their respective seasons against Sheffield United and Brentford.
              - Stream on ESPN+: LaLiga, Bundesliga, more (U.S.)
The game will mark somewhat of a homecoming for Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, who coached A-League Men side Melbourne Victory in 2012-13 and won titles for South Melbourne as both manager and player in the 1990s.
The report claims that Chelsea were targeted as Spurs' original opponent for the friendly, but a Sunday's 4-2 victory over Leicester City means the Blues remain in the FA Cup and potentially unavailable for the trip to Australia if they make the final at Wembley on Saturday May 25.
Spurs and Newcastle both remain in the race for European qualification next season, with Postecoglou's side eyeing a Champions League berth, while Eddie Howe's Newcastle remain in the hunt for a Europa League spot.

Woah, what a game at SJP, NUFC gets an early one, goes two down, wins 4-3.

WH got a bit of a dodgy goal in the first, after a NU player went down after a head hit and WH played on quickly, but we got a dodgy penalty in the second.

The rest was pure gold. One of the best PL games I've seen.
