Arsenal should have been down to ten men, after an incident that saw three Toon player carded.
Looking at the vision, the ball had about 2mm on the line. There is no way a linesman could pick that out and then play on.

To close to call it out too?

Havertz probably should have seen red anyway, lucky not to be playing with 10 men tbh.

That was criminal. I saw Muscat do that and destroy a young players career.

Longstaff was an inch from having his leg snapped.

Fwiw I think Bruno was a dickhead and should've been carded too.

The goal was one of those where there were no clear and obvious errors.

Ive seen them go both ways. Arteta is such a twat!

It looks out, however the TV doesn't show the angles right.

It was bloody close! Willock did amazingly well to keep it alive.

Instead of viewing from ten metres above the ball the linesman is maybe 1.8m above, meaning he doesn't see the grass between the ball and the line.

                It's actually really simple.
                TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Because its one of those really close ones that go either way, its not like it was blatantly out by a meter.

Best for your club to just accept they didn't get the rub of the green this time and move on.

Arsenal's melt down (after having 1 shot on target) is Dodo levels for me.

Keep it coming please don't stop.

Funniest thing, Havertz get a yellow for a potential leg breaker, 3 x Newcastle players get yellows for dissent.

After goal the entire Arsenal team surrounds the ref.... No yellows.

Doubling down. Feel like the fact Newcastle played really well against one of the world's best teams is being overlooked here ha.

                          Considering the injuries too.

I mean we had Wilson, Lascelles, Schar, Almiron, Longstaff, Ritchie, Joelinton playing from prior to the takeover.

                          Howe is a fantastic manager.

So are Arsenal unhappy with the ball being called in, the offside, or the apparent foul?

                              Yes.

My guess is the Big Joe shove on the goal line which was 50/50 a foul and the Bruno elbow, which is more than fair to be upset about. As long as you point out the Havertz red as well.

I don't seem to be able to explain myself properly. All I am saying is there is no way the linesman should have called this play on. when you look at the footage:
                                Here is a better angle

How would the linesman see millimetres from where he way standing? Anyway, he ended up vindicated.

Newcastle won and we move on. It is a long season and anything can happen.
