You have an 11 that you choose based on skill set.

      Fielding is one of those.

If that player takes a catch or performs a run out the player he replaced wouldn't have been able to do you're getting an advantage above and beyond your selected side.
It should only be the twelfth man.

Where are the checks and balances also? Who's monitoring it to ensure its a legit injury.

To be it's a bit like exploiting the previous injury sub rule in the AFL.

England were impressive again last night and have a massive lead of 377.
Joe Root played some audacious shots and Bairstow again flourished with the bat.

We will need at two batsman to make big scores to give us a winning chance.

Let’s just call it 2-2 now and go home early.

Wait up. Rain forecast for day 4 and 5!
Now that would be very funny.

Did not know that… was more referring to the winning part. I don’t see these batsmen in this form making nearly 400.

So we agree? It's not in the spirit of the game to, instead of the actual 12th man who was almost selected to play, call in specialist fielders to replace a member of the team while they're off getting a massage or whatever (going back to 2005 there not sure if that's what they're doing now).

Just heard Stuart Broad has decided to retire - let's hope he goes out on a high note - 0/150 and 3 dropped catches, and giving up the winning runs to Marnus.

I would read that more as dull overcast conditions with some lights showers. Again we get a raft of crap conditions

I love how our bowlers just bowl it into the hit zone instead of on the toes to tail enders.
                            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

It's driven me mad this series. I may have mentioned it a few times.

I haven't picked up on it!

If players are batting at you like it's 20-20 why not bowl at them like it's 20-20.....without the strict rules around wides! The idiocy behind not bowling wide and full, at the toes, anywhere but the hit zone is beyond me. I perhaps don't understand cricket well enough, but I have always thought you do whatever you can to dry up runs when bowling and the rest follows.
                                TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
