    The Ashes - 3rd Test

    16-20 December in Perth.

    What changes?

With Broad out for the rest of the series England need to replace him. Its either Bresnan or Tremlett. Pretty straightforward.

Now, the tough one, what does Australia do?

Minor changes where like is replaced with like or a major overhaul?

Katich is out, does he get replaced with an opener or does someone like Mike Hussey open?

    Does North get dropped?

The bowling is a dead set shambles! Johnson & Hilfenhuas were dumped after a bad match. What then of Bollinger & Siddle? I thought Harris was OK.

    Dougherty. Gone!

Is 4 changes (Katich, North, Dougherty & Bollinger) too many?

The changes I think they might make

    Hughes for Katich
    Ferguson for North
    Hauritz for Doherty
Hilfenhaus for Bollinger (just didn't have his normal zip)

Listening to Ponting it appears unlikely North will be dropped.

Averaging 84 this summer in the Shield v Hughes' 25.

59 average points < NSW cap

            Marsh is no chance

              Khawaja in to replace Katich
Smith* to come in to replace North
Cameron to come in to replace Doherty

Unless we they are going to bring in O'Keefe(which is highly unlikely as he can't get into NSW side ATM) I would play 4 quicks.

*I would prefer White come in with a view to be our next Test captain, but sadly that's not going to happen.

Is Tim Nielsen taking the piss?

Shane Warne 'has three weeks to prove he is match fit' for shock Australia return

Colin Cowdrey was a year older than Warne when he came out of retirement in 74/75 and Bobby Simpson was Warne's age when he came back in 77/78.

Of course both of those sides got absolutely bent over and reamed.

                      Ha.

That being said, if they wheeled him out for Boxing Day, I'd buy a ticket.

Warnie huh? That would be funny.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
